製作動畫別注版的賽車不是甚麼奇特事，要命的是廠方真的拿來參賽！日本的EVA Racing車隊不單選用《新世紀福音戰士》初號機Super GT及Trick Star來參賽，還找來Race Queen扮演真人版綾波麗及明日香，真不知他們是熱愛動畫還是亂搞！
初號機侵襲Super GT
這部Evangelion Corolla Axio SUPER GT以初號機作為設計藍本，全車以紫色為主調，車重1100kg
排氣量達3500cc，最大輸出力為300ps以上(6800rpm)。目前這部「初號機」在今屆國際Super GT大賽上的成績相當不俗，在第三回富士賽車場的大戰中奪得第九位，而在馬來西亞舉行的第四回戰中則勇奪第八位，而駕駛著它的是27歲的嵯峨宏紀及及30歲的松浦孝亮。兩位車手除了要穿上NERVE戰鬥服樣色的駕駛裝參戰外，亦出席了大量相關的公關工作，非常辛苦。
男士都愛車愛美女，故此車隊亦找來了「綾波麗」及「明日香」當車隊女郎，她們分別是扮演綾波麗、現年24歲的千葉悠凪及21歲、扮演明日香的水谷望愛。兩位「適合人選」要在車場上騷首弄姿真是讓人始料不及，相信勢必引來大量秋葉原御宅族進佔賽車場。
初號機「暴走」電單車場
《新世紀福音戰士》其中最令人印象深刻的場面應該是初號機暴走吧，不過現在初號機想要暴走已不用顧慮「同步率」了。這部比Super GT外型更為浮誇的EVA RT初號機Trick Star完全承襲了初號機的設計，連它頭上的「拘束具」也加到車頭上。
此車型號為Kawasaki ZX-10R，馬力達200匹，排氣量988cc。車隊車手包括32歲的武石伸也，37歲的芹澤麻太樹及30歲的今野由寬。日前車隊已正式宣怖參戰七月廿二至廿五日舉行的鈴鹿八小時電單車耐力賽，希望一睹初號機暴走英姿的朋友就要留意了。
另外，EVA電單車隊的Race Queen依然由水谷望愛扮演明日香，扮演綾波麗的則改為野呂陽菜。
