才不過一年，PSP GO 已淪為廉價「貨尾」，今日傍晚日本SONY正式宣佈將PSP GO 減價11000日元，減幅達四成之多！
根據日本SONY 發出的新聞稿表示，PSP GO將減價發售，新售價將為16800日圓。此次獲減價的PSP GO 型號為「N-1000」，其配置與一般PSP GO 無異，同樣內置16GB Flahs記憶體，體積為128×16.5×69 mm，約重158g，配備3.8吋16:9TFT液晶熒幕，解像度度480 × 272，支援WIFI IEEE 802.11b及Bluetooth 2.0，備有黑白兩色。
PSP GO失利主要有兩大原因，第一是其機能與前代無大分別兼價錢高昂，第二為大敵NDS 憑獨特的遊玩體驗虜盡玩家的心，加上過去年半iPhone在流動裝置遊戲界別的步步進逼，全都令到PSP GO無法在此領域上有任何發展，此次的減價相信亦是在兩大勁敵的強攻下所作的下下之策。行文時，香港及亞洲其他地區的SONY並未有任何動靜，奉勸各位想在聖誕前買部手提遊戲過節的朋友三思。
